Completing a hospitality internship or work placement in Türkiye is a popular route for international students and seasonal workers, driven by the massive Mediterranean and Aegean resort markets.
Under Turkish Labor Law, foreign nationals must have the correct legal authorization before starting work. Unlike tourist stays, working on an e-Visa is strictly illegal.
Hospitality placements in Türkiye offer a unique compensation structure tailored to seasonal workers:
Base Salary: Foreign hospitality staff on official work permits must be paid at least the statutory national minimum wage (approx. €500–€700+ net/month, depending on currency fluctuations and skill level).
Full Room and Board (Standard Benefit): The vast majority of 4-star, 5-star, and all-inclusive resorts provide free staff accommodation (shared staff dormitories/apartments) and three meals per day at the staff cafeteria (personel yemekhanesi).
Workplace Cover: Employers are legally required to register foreign staff with the Social Security Institution (SGK), providing public medical coverage.
Season Duration: Peak season runs from April/May to October/November (along the Southern Riviera), though ski resorts (e.g., Uludağ, Erciyes) hire for the winter season (December–March).
Top Regional Hubs:
Antalya Coast: (Kemer, Belek, Side, Alanya) — Home to major luxury all-inclusive chains (Maxx Royal, Rixos, Titanic, Delphin).
Aegean Coast: (Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye) — High-end luxury boutique hotels, luxury resorts, and yachting hubs.
Istanbul: Year-round corporate and boutique hospitality (Marriott, Hilton, Four Seasons).
In-Demand Positions: Guest Relations (multilingual roles in English, Russian, German, or Arabic), Front Office/Reception, Entertainment/Animation Teams, Spa Therapists, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Services, and Specialized Culinary Staff.
We secure a Job Offer / Internship Agreement: Apply directly through our partner hotel career portals, hospitality placement agencies (e.g., Intern Network Turkey), or university Erasmus+ programs to receive an official contract or Learning Agreement.
Consulate Application (Overseas): We submit your contract at the nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate in your home country to obtain a Consular Reference Number.
We ask your employer to file e-İzin: Within 10 business days of your consulate appointment, your employer uploads corporate documents and your contract to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security portal (e-İzin).
Entry and Address Registration: Once approved, you will receive your visa stamp, travel to Türkiye, and complete local address registration and SGK onboarding with your hotel.
